Richard Holzworth, DPT
Rick received his bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and a Master of Science degree from Long Island University. Rick ultimately received his doctorate degree from Gannon University in 2009.
In addition to his work at Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation, Rick is educating future generations of Physical Therapy Assistants as the Program Director at Penn State Shenango.
Larry Mattocks, DPT, OCS
Larry earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and his Master of Science in Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, and he is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Larry received his doctorate degree from Gannon University in 2009.
Larry is the Clinical Director of Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation's New Wilmington office, located in Shenango-on-the-Green, where he demonstrates his well-developed clinical expertise in orthopedics, work hardening, and sports medicine. Larry is a published author of academic essays, speaks at medical conferences throughout the region, and is a guest lecturer at Penn State University.
Douglas Orendi, DPT
Doug received his bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in Exercise Science and a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Francis University. Doug received his doctorate degree from Gannon University in 2009.
Doug is the Clinical Director of Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation's Hermitage office, where he has developed clinical expertise in the prevention and rehabilitation of sports specific injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation, and most recently, with neurological rehabilitation through his participation in the Saebo Training Program, a revolutionary therapy technique designed to improve the hand and arm function to overcome the debilitating effects following a neurological event, such as a stroke.
Rebecca Syersak-Murcko, PT
Becky received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physical Therapy from Medical College of Ohio in 1993 and has been a Staff Therapist at Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation since 1996. She received specialized training in treating patients with incontinence and issues surrounding pregnancy and postpartum. By applying the principles of proper posture, altering the work environment, therapy and exercise, Becky can develop a customized program to treat back, buttock and pubic pain, and urinary incontinence.
Kristen Nollinger, PT, MPT
Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 and completed a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2005 from Findlay University. Currently, she is working on her doctorate degree from Temple University, which she expects to complete in December, 2009.
Kristen has worked in Physical Therapy since 1999, and joined the Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation team in 2005. She is an experienced clinical physical therapist specializing in orthopedics and is expert at treating balance problems associated with vestibular, neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.
